Mr S M ABU BAKR SIDDIQUI (SAURAV) CEO & Managing Director of Siddiqui Group would like you to introduce Saudia German Power Plant and its Journey. Please allow me to guide you to the journey of Siddiqui Group & Saudia German Power Plant in Bangladesh.

Mr. Taher Ahmed Siddiqui is the Chairman of Siddiqui Group. He started his journey with TAS (Taher Ahmed Siddiqui) Shilpa Shambhar in 1976 with the supply of Directorate General of Defense Purchase in Bangladesh for Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force.

Then He Started Poultry Business in 1990 and was pioneer in doing it at industrial level and still he is the President for Bangladesh Egg Producers Association and Co-chairman of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Fisheries & Livestock which is the apex trade organization of Bangladesh, playing a pivotal role in consultative and advisory capacity, safeguarding the interest of the private sector in the country.

As per his guideline in 2008 we started Siddiqui Telemarketing & Siddiqui Perl Tech Incorporated of which one is Contacts Centre of 300 Seats and Software Development Company respectively. Our Clients are mainly in USA and UK. We are still the pioneer and in Contact Centre industry and our license is number 3 from Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

The businesses were flowing and slowly we invested our eggs in different baskets such as Constructions of Residential and Commercial Building under the name of Siddiqui Engineers & Construction and Siddiqui Architects & Interiors in 2012. In 2014 we heavily invested in Ready Made Garments which are Siddiqui Fabrics, Siddiqui Apparel Industries Limited, Siddiqui Apparels SHPK, & Factory Outlet Limited.

Since 2018 we are surveying in Green Energy, and thus we came up with the most crisis sector which is Waste Management. Dhaka, The Capital City of Bangladesh is in number 1 Polluted city in Bangladesh and we need to save our country and the environment at the same time. Therefore, such a step. In Bangladesh we have approximately 3% of Green Energy of which Solar is the only established. Bangladesh Govt priority and target is to move 40% of its electricity generation from Green Sources, Therefore, we are currently in the process of establishing six cutting-edge Waste to Energy plants in six distinct City Corporations in order to effectively manage and mitigate the waste challenges faced by Bangladesh. Moreover, we are proud to announce that we are undertaking a groundbreaking 213 MW Solar Power Project, as well as a monumental 150 MW X 2 Wind to Energy Project. These ventures exemplify our unwavering commitment to sustainable and renewable energy solutions, bolstering our position as a trailblazer in the industry.
